Performance Analysis

The difference between standing on the podium or not is often only a matter of a second or two – and where on the podium you stand may be down to thousandths of a second.

In order to shave off this valuable time, you need to first

  • fully understand your dog’s strengths and areas for potential improvement
  • fully understand your handling strengths and areas for potential improvement
  • uncover where and how those that are beating you are making up time

Only then can you develop the right plan of attack.

By utilising state of the art digital technology we can now give you access to individual performance analysis.

Through SimulCam and Stromotion DVD recording we are able to not only analyse your obstacle performance and evaluate handling skills but also compare your run to another who has run on the same course.  This provides

  • side by side (split screen) comparison of up to four dogs at a time
  • the ability to overlay one run on top of another, to identify the exact areas where performance differs
  • on-screen time comparison of individual obstacles or sequences within a course

This is copied to DVD which can then be played on a normal DVD player or PC/laptop with a DVD drive.

“Knowledge is wasted without the power to implement it”

The analysis DVD will give you the knowledge of how you compare and where the potential is to improve, but this on its own will not change your performance.  To achieve this, a performance improvement plan will need to be considered.  This may

  • include the improvement of obstacle performance
  • the adaptation of existing handling skills
  • the development of new handling and obstacle/sequence performance skills
  • canine fitness/nutrition
  • the identification of any existing physical condition which may be limiting performance

Dynamic K9s offers individual performance programmes which can include

  • methods to improve canine fitness and flexibility
  • nutritional recommendation
  • creating drive and motivation
  • agility training from puppy to advanced competition
